Not very clear about what the caption means, Carden Loyd based and possible inspiration for the Renault UE?
French got a license to produce a Carden-Loyd-style carrier for Renault, Citroen, and Brandt. Renault at one point refused to pay license rights unless compensated by the French government - so instead the manufacturers would be instructed to build a similar vehicle.
